Why the theme Knights and dragons makes a good book
An adventure that suits the child
Fairy tales have always let children be braver, wiser and kinder than they dare to be in real life. A tale about knights and dragons makes your child the one who saves the kingdom, breaks the spell and makes friends with what nobody else dares go near. The magic makes the child listen, and the security of knowing it always ends well means the tale can be read again and again. The pictures are drawn from a photo, so that the child sees themselves in the middle of the magic.
Your child is the hero
You fill in the child's name, age and what they like, and upload a photo. The story about knights and dragons is written for your very own child, and the fourteen pictures are drawn from the photo in the style you choose. Brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents or the pet can come along, up to five characters. If you would like to include something that has happened lately, a trip or a lost tooth, just write it and it is woven in.
From eBook to hardback book
The eBook is ready a few minutes after payment. Read it, change the text and ask for new pictures until you are happy. Then order it as an A4 hardback book, printed and sent to your door, or straight to the child as a gift. Do add the audiobook or the colouring pages. How the story could begin
You wake because something is glittering outside the window. When you look out, you see that the garden has been transformed: the grass is silver, the sky is pink and far away, where the fence usually is, there is a gate you have never seen. You put on your slippers and creep out. The gate opens by itself. Behind it begins a land all about knights and dragons, and everyone there seems to have been waiting for you. “At last,” says a voice. “We need someone brave, and we have heard that you are.” You look around. This is the beginning of your greatest adventure.
